Wednesdays at 6:30 PM - Clubhouse Kids

Ages K5 to 6th Grade | Led by Pastor Carlos Farias

Our Clubhouse Kids program is an amazing time where kids can learn about the story of God’s love and redemption, and His plan for their lives! Plus, they have a TON of fun along the way!

 
 

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM - Ignite Youth

7th-12th Grade | Led by Pastor Robert & Beth Elliott

The teen years can be confusing, difficult, and challenging! But they can also be awesome! Through our weekly youth night, monthly activities, annual trips, and programs, the teens at MLBC are challenged and equipped to live for Christ while they are in their youth. Each year, the teens can look forward to camps, trips, outreach events, fun activities, and many opportunities to grow in God’s Word. We do everything within our power to provide the Bible-based wisdom that teens need, combined with the friendly atmosphere that teens enjoy!

FAQs

  • We completely understand that everyone’s schedules are different, and it might be that Wednesday nights at 6:30 don’t work for every 30-55 year old in our church. If you’re unable to make it to the Growth Group night that “fits” your stage of life, that’s completely okay, and we’d encourage you to attend one of the other Growth Group nights if you’re able! We have groups on Tuesdays at 6 PM, Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, and Thursdays at 5 PM. These groups will all be studying the same material each week, so you won’t need to worry that you’re missing out!

  • That is totally okay! We know that you will benefit from every week you can attend, but if you are unable to come on a given week, there’s no need to worry or stop coming. And, if only a specific day doesn’t work during a specific week, you can always attend one of the other Growth Group nights.

  • Childcare is provided during our Tuesday and Wednesday night groups, with our Clubhouse Kids (K-6th Grade) group meeting on Wednesday nights at the same time and location as the Ages 30-55 group. We do appreciate if you’re able to let us know ahead of time if you need childcare for children under 5, so we can let our childcare workers know what to expect.

  • There is no cost to attend the group. There may be some opportunities to buy the materials or help with refreshments, but there are no required costs for the groups!

  • For the next 6 weeks, we’ll be going through the book Stop Trying, which is written by Pastor Cary Schmidt. This book talks about finding our identity in Christ, and thriving in the identity that God has given us.

  • Absolutely!! We would love for as many people as possible to learn these truths from God’s Word with us. In fact, we’d encourage you to invite people you know!

  • God never created us to be in isolation, we’re made to fellowship and grow and learn together. These Growth Groups are intended to help people learn in a close, friendly setting that allows them to use some of the gifts and insights God has given them in conjunction with others in the same stage of life.
